GENMAIL is really, really generic all you need todo is decide what kind of
generic message you want sent. the subject: where in PCBOARD to call the
.PPE. WHAT TO RENAME THE FILES TO. GENMAIL Can be named to anything you
desire. as long as the support files (.MSG + .DAT) have the same name.
thats RIGHT!!
COPY THESE FILE TO ANY NAME YOU WANT AND EDIT THE .MSG File to the message
your going to send, plus update the .dat file to change the
SUBJECT of the message .
SUGGESTED places to call the .PPE
anywhere in PCBTEXT that issues WARNINGS or comments
in a SECURITY SPECIFIC logon, logoff file
the example .MSG & .DAT are called from PCBTEXT to warn the user of a upcoming
need to change his/her password.LOAD LIKE this !c:\pcb\ppl\genmail.ppe or what
ever you call the .PPE AND PATH TO WHERE IT IS.
I USE IT IN LINE 711 of PCBTEXT, SO, when
the user logs on, the mail waiting flag is turned on andhe/she is prompted
to read the message from you. as I STATED the PPE is FREEWARE. AND WAS WRITTEN
BY ME A HUMBLE DISABLED VIETNAM VETERAN. Donations are always greatfully
accepted.
HAVE YOU HUGGED A VIETNAM VET TODAY?
